NCU’s Superb Roadmap Moving Forward (cont.)

“I really consider this wonderful roadmap to be our foundation documents moving forward,” noted George Burnett, NCU’s CEO. “With our HLC Comprehensive Visit slated for October 8-10, this really is our ‘Declaration of Independence.’ I am so proud of our University and I believe that we now have something a lot of colleges are lacking: a clear and instructive view of the future.”

If you’ve been affiliated with Northcentral for a number of years, you’ll immediately notice our updated direction. While we’ll continue to welcome people seeking to obtain their Bachelor’s degree, our “sweet spot” is really working adults – professionals currently engaged in a profession and striving to obtain their advanced degrees. Our One-to-One teaching model is our true differentiator. Based on the British model developed at Oxford University, our highly-credentialed faculty mentors our students as if they were in a private tutorial – not part of a huge lecture hall with thousands of others. In the near future, all of our faculty will be required to have Doctorates, and of course, advanced technologies will continue to play a vital role in how we help students around the world achieve their dreams – and contribute to their societies at large.

We’ve set our sights extremely high – we’re providing access to U.S. regionally accredited higher education via multiple technologies and no physical residency requirements. This global vision, ensuring quality outcomes for our students through top notch faculty utilizing leading-edge tools allows us to truly soar above the competition.

Our values SUPPORT our mission: Idea’s Founded on Integrity. This is our truth in simplicity….

And speaking of truth, welcome to another issue of VERITAS! As always, if you have any comments, questions or suggestions about our new Mission, Vision and Values, please send them to: HLCWebinars@ncu.edu. Be on the lookout for upcoming meetings discussing our assessment of student learning, as well as University-wide town hall meetings, assessment updates, and self-study updates.
